About Fondbites, School of Sugar Art
Fondbites, School of Sugar Art trains people in baking, cake decorating and advanced level of cake art. Starting from a novice baker to a baker who is already doing commercial business, we have some latest trending lessons in store for you.
Fondbites is based at Chennai, India. We have concrete course syllabus for each course that has been meticulously planned and worked out with the immense knowledge that we have gained over the past 3 years of experience in the field of tutoring – baking and cake decorating.
All our courses are completely hands-on to instill confidence in the students while working in the class and to pursue the learning after the course.
Several hundred students have passed out of Fondbites who are successful home bakers today. Commercial Bakeries have also benefited through the advanced levels of cake decorating courses of Fondbites.

About Subhashini Ramsingh
Subhashini Ramsingh, is the Founder and Proprietor of Fondbites, School of Sugar Art. She is a Computer Science and Engineering graduate passed out from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
With more than over 10 years of working in the Software industry, she quit her job to spend more time with her kids. A passionate artist, discovered her passion towards baking and from there, no looking back ever!
With extensive self learning, she started a commercial home baking venture where she was selling her cakes for more than a year. During this journey she discovered her passion towards teaching cake decorating and to spread her love for baking. That is the beginning of the School of Sugar Art.
She has trained hundreds of students who are successful bakers today and run their business in a very efficient way. She helps her old students to keep updated with the latest trends in the cake world.
Fondbites, Bake Along
Bake Along is an initiative of Fondbites where, Subhashini personally tries and tests a recipe each week and posts the recipe with detailed step by step pictures for the members to try out.
Through this initiative, lots of people have benefited using Bake Along recipes in most of their commercial baking. Several baker tutors also use the recipes in their own baking classes.
Recipes of Bake Along are open to all and you can check it out here. The fun of baking together with other members happens inside the Facebook group, where every other member motivates and encourages each other that keeps up the spirit of baking in a group. Let’s Do It with Fondbites
Let’s Do It with Fondbites is another initiative which came into existence, to hand hold, old students of our school to keep them updated on the latest trends in the world of cake decorating.
As an icing on the cake, even non-students of our school are being mentored through this journey. That’s true, we are open to mentoring even non-students and get one step ahead and continue to mentor them like our own students.
Subhashini, comes up with a new theme in the beginning of each month and members have a months time to work over the theme and the whole group would post their finished pictures on the 28th of each month.
Each months theme is being carefully picked up, that will encourage the members and groom them to become better artists every month forward.
Completed projects of members of each month can be found here. As we focus on each member’s project individually to guide and mentor on the improvement aspect and that is the key to the success and reach of this initiative, we have restricted entry into the group. After few levels of interview, Subhashini will personally decide to accommodate a new member into the group.
Camera and Photographs
All pictures used in the recipes and classes are taken solely by Subhashini herself. She uses a “Nikon D3200 Digital SLR with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR NIKKOR Zoom Lens” and also have have a “Nikon AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 40mm F/2.8 Lens”.
Where and how can you use our recipes?
You are allowed to use our recipes for personal or commercial purposes. While using to post them anywhere on a social media you will have to give due credit to the source of the recipe.
Baker tutors who are using our recipes to conduct classes are supposed to give due credit wherever applicable.
Bloggers who are using our recipes to blog personally you need to link back to, from where you have taken it.
However, you are not supposed to use the text of my recipes as it is. You need to follow basic blogger ethics, by personally trying out the recipe and texting it out in your own language and you should also use your own pictures.
The photographs used throughout the website are not allowed to be used by others without any prior permission. Please ask before use.
