Frosting and Cake Decorating workshop of fondbites is an intensive training program on piping skills and cake decoration. You will get to make your own buttercream ( 2 kinds) and fresh cream during the workshop. Use them to practice around 20 piping techniques. Once skills accomplished, you will be guided to torte your cake flat, cover with crumb coat, smooth finish your cake and complete the decoration based on the theme sketch given.

Day 1 – Making of American Buttercream. Knowing your nozzles, Preparing your piping bag, Filling piping bags, Piping Pressure Control, Intensive practicing of piping techniques using template cards, Sketching your final cake.
Day 2 – You would need to bring in your baked cake on day 2. You will be taught to torte your cake flat. Make your Smooth Buttercream. Fill your cake. Whip up fresh cream. Decide if cake needs to be covered using smooth buttercream or whip cream. Crumb coat and smooth finish using specific techniques. Finish final decoration based on the provided sketch.
You should bring along few cupcakes. Chocolate ganache will be provided to frost the cupcakes along with hands on chocolate garnishes will be taught and they will be used to decorate the cupcakes.
You get to take home your beautifully decorated cake!
You need to bring – 7 inch or 8 inch round cake. (Butter cakes or Pound cakes)
What you take home – Tool kit (containing 24 nozzle set, Spatula, Scrapper, Piping Bags), File containing printed template sheets of
piping techniques, Recipe booklet of frosting recipes and fully decorated cake of yours.
