Whipped Vanilla Cream Frosting

Whipped cream frosting is the simplest form of icing and is so easy to make and cover up a cake. It is so delicious as it doesn’t take too much sugar and is best for a cake that needs a quick finish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Place the heavy whipping cream on the bowl of your electric beater and beat well until creamy.
  2. Add the granulated white sugar and pure vanilla extract and beat until stiff peaks form.

    Hi! I’m a new fan of yours… Have a query though… Where exactly in chennai do you get this heavy whipped cream and in what consistency is it available.. I’ve been disappointed with the small powder pack of Blue bird thats available… Have also tried something which was more like the frozen dessert… but never really got my hands on the Heavy whipped cream…

    Can I add lemon extract to make a lemon whipped cream ? …can I use castor sugar or icing sugar instead of granulated sugar?

      Hi Ekta,
      You can add zest of lemon for making lemon whipped cream and also about half teaspoon of lemon juice will do the trick. You dont need to source extract for it. Thanks.
